At this retreat, our tribe of women will consider our female ancestral wounds, free our feminine energy, celebrate our bodies, learnour full orgasmic potential, dance freely, and meditate.

 

Each morning starts with meditation, breath work, and stretching before breakfast. After breakfast  the daily workshop begins.

Belly Dance Movement

Belly dance workshops will be led by belly dance instructor Niffer. She has been practicing and studying belly dance for 17 years under world-renowned dancers such as Carolina Nericcio, Jill Parker, Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Belladonna, Mira Betz and many others. You will learn some basic belly dance moves to get you moving freely and reconnecting with your body, and have the chance to put your new skills into practice many times throughout the week.

 

Experience healing in Nature with Community

We will have a ceremonial women’s circle, release our sexual trauma, do breath work, and forgive, all in the jungle of Costa Rica, and the waters of the Caribbean.

 

We will participate in ceremonies throughout the retreat, beginning with a Welcome Ceremony where we will get to know each other, explore our surroundings, and become acquainted with the feminine energy of the local environment through local women. During the Water Ceremony, we wade into local waters to deepen our connection with our bodies, allowing the water to support us as we dance with the flow. You are encouraged to wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. The Fire Ceremony on the beach is an ecstatic celebration of our divine energy through dancing around a fire, wearing white, and embodying our inner goddess. Our final morning in Costa Rica will be marked by a Closing Ceremony, after morning meditation, breath work, and stretching, as we bid goodbye to Costa Rica and lovely adventures together.

 

Nourish Your Body

The price of the retreat includes daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with the exception of a free day on Thursday that enables you to experience a night out in Puerto Viejo).

 

We will be staying at Tierra De Sueños in bungalows nestled in the jungle–they are in a rustic setting and have no air conditioning, however each room has a fan and lots of ventilation. Each bungalow has its own bathroom with shower. WiFi will only be available in the lodge. Tierra De Sueños Lodge is 5-minutes walk from the beach. FAQs

  • The 7-day retreat takes place October 2-9, 2022. You must sign up by September 18, 2022 to save your spot.

  • The total cost of the retreat is $2,497, which includes a non-refundable deposit of $500, balance of $1,997 due by September 4th.

  • If you pay the $500 non-refundable deposit, the balance of $1,997 is due by September 4th.

  • The group will be a minimum of 7 and maximum of 16 women, not including Dr. Luz and one other staff member.

  • Lodging for 7 nights in a shared bungalow is included, as well as 3 healthy meals per day (with the exception of one free day that enables you to experience a night out in Puerto Viejo).

  • Tierra de Suenos Lodge has 8 bungalows onsite, plus 2 rooms attached to the yoga pavilion. There are 7 standard bungalows that can hold 2 people each in their own beds.

    The bungalows are set in the jungle; they are in a rustic setting and have no air conditioning, however each room has a fan and lots of ventilation.

  • Each bungalow has its own shower and bathroom.

  • The flight to and from Costa Rica from the US is NOT included in the retreat coast. An eco bus tour from the main airport to the lodge on the first day of the retreat is included in the retreat price. Also included is the short flight from the smaller airport to the main airport on the last day of the retreat. Airport shuttle from the lodge to the local airport, and any transportation on your free day (Wednesday, 10/5/2022) is not included.

  • The free day is Wednesday, October 5th. There is no workshop that day, and it is your day to explore Costa Rica. Because of this, no meals are planned for this day and they are not included. Everyone is encouraged to explore together.

  • Beaches are a 5-minute walk away.

  • Tierra de Sueños can accommodate the following: Vegetarian – Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian – Vegan – Gluten-Free – Organic – Raw Food – Pescatarian – Lactose-Free – Whole Food dietary preferences. We will be sending out a survey to collect everyone's dietary preferences and any food allergies a week before we arrive.

  • WiFi is only available in the main lodge.

  • Alcohol is allowed onsite, but not included in the cost. A grocery store is a 2-minute walk away.

  • The Discover the Goddess Retreat is designed for adult women (18+) only, so if your friend or family member falls into that group, then yes.

    Unfortunately at this retreat, we are unable to accommodate children, teens, or men.
